Fund
St.
Charles County is a partner with the Children’s Trust Fund
of Missouri. The Children’s Trust Fund is a state organization
whose mission is the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Local
residents can make donations to the Children’s Trust Fund
in the name of St. Charles County by purchasing their license plate,
and those funds are held in the County’s name. The County
has asked the Resource Board to be responsible for establishing
yearly grants out of this fund to help fund local prevention programs.

Applications
for funding are made available each year starting October 1st and
are due December 31st. The Children’s Trust Fund Committee
of the Resource Board reviews all qualified applications and makes
their recommendations by the 4th Tuesday of January. Recipients
are notified thereafter and a presentation is made on the 4th Tuesday
of February. Applications can be received at the Community and Children's
Resource Board of St. Charles County, 2440 Executive Drive, Suite
214, St. Charles, MO 63303 or by calling Bruce Sowatsky at 636-939-6200.

License plates are $25.00 annually, over and above normal registration
fees.
