The Trust Fund
St. Charles County is a partner with the Children’s
Trust Fund of Missouri. The Children’s Trust Fund is a state
organization whose mission is the prevention of child abuse and
neglect. Local residents can make donations to the Children’s
Trust Fund in the name of St. Charles County by purchasing their
license plate, and those funds are held in the County’s name.
The County has asked the Resource Board to be responsible for establishing
yearly grants out of this fund to help fund local prevention programs.

Applications for funding are made available each
year starting October 1st and are due December 31st. The Children’s
Trust Fund Committee of the Resource Board reviews all qualified
applications and makes their recommendations by the 4th Tuesday
of January. Recipients are notified thereafter and a presentation
is made on the 4th Tuesday of February. Applications can be received
at the Community and Children's Resource Board of St. Charles County,
